I am so happy that the porsche club meets are here again! June 13th and 14th. wonderful people to spend time with and each event is just a good old fashioned great time!

At the meet, concours lite, and autocrosses, the cars always take my breath away! because they are not just porsches! last year i was introduced to who owns what in the city and well... you would be surprised at waht is in some of the garages in our fine northern town! ferarri's of all makes, lambo's from each era, new vipers and ford gt's, the list goes on and on. like i said it takes my breath away and my heart beats like i'm having a heart attack!!!lol

I just finished reading my email. I mention this because a beautiful woman who would like to model was asking how often we do our photoshoots. ALL PROSPECTIVE MODELS the photoshoots are set up quickly! this means we need all of your up to date contact information send here you will rarely get two weeks notice, and it usually is a week. we'll have lots because the girls beg fong constantly to go out and shoot... cars or no cars.

maybe we can set something up with the porsche club mystery drive! shhhhh

CAR CLUBS

i may have mentioned this before in an article, but i would like to stress how important it is for people who like to drive their machines to join a club! i grew up not knowing about car clubs and took my passion out in the city streets. this was not a good idea and i have the driving record to prove it! we all know about the safety aspect as it is driven home in tv commercials, newspapers, insurance companies and the by the government. but you are safer and your car is safer and everyone is safer when you are with your club and on a track where you can truly see how naturally gifted you are as a driver!!!lol or lack thereof! ha!

This is important read!

clubs are little to no cost to join and you get discounts on your parts. you even get good advice on performance mods by someone who has done it before! And to the old guys! (like me) tell the younger guys around you and get them to come out to your meets! get them invloved! pass on your great wisdom to those who need it!(or lack thereof! ha!!!)

if you have a club leave the info here and i will post a link page where people can have it accessible. does not matter which city or country leave the info. our traffic is from the us, canada, western and eastern europe, and malaysia. (quite a lot from ireland and poland actually i don't know why...maybe it's the pretty girls!)

I attended a seminar while on vacation a couple of weeks ago. the seminar was about Joint Ventures. now i'll be honest here and say the only time this magazine made any money for us was when we used some joint ventures. (we did not know at the time they were called that) during the launch last year, we had all kind of offers for free stuff (no body wanted to give up any cash money except peter sitek from european autotinting) and we did not understand or know how to create money off of these offers. now we do: lesson learned.

a joint venture could be described as a strategic business alliance and BIG businesses use them all the time. 20% of all big business revenues are from joint ventures. they are the fastest way for you to grow your company. small business people do not know about them or do not use them. they are practically no risk, no cost and no extra work. ask me more but when i say to you that you can double or triple your profits it sounds too good to be true! doesn't it? well that's why your business will stay small! i listen to the people who have done it and can prove it. and i see that it is true! i do not care what business you are in, or where. joint ventures can be used to bump your profits not just sales. and that's why we are in business isn't it? after tax profit? or are you in business for long hours and no pay? no-brainer for me. the seminar just opened my eyes AGAIN!

i get to travel home today. =) many things happened the last couple of days. i was on a teleconference call with the investors of a corporation that i am a director of. good call lots of positive information. everyone sounded happy with what was going on and besides the prsident is comming out on the 10th of june to asnwer the hard stuff

for people who want to become investors, here is some advice: if you are going to invest money, research what you are investing in! if you close your eyes and throw your money in, this means you are a gambler. not an investor!

do your homework and get educated. no one else is looking after your best interests. this investment i am in is going exactly the way i had it laid out in my timetable. looking at market conditions and building during a boom...well no surprises here. some people are hanging on to what a salesman told them...that is not research.

the investment is not the risk! it is the investor that is the risk!

another opportunity presented itself after the call. and now i am swimming in waters i have never been before...this makes it exciting because it is so terrifiying! anyone want an apprentice? i am looking for a jedi master of business to mentor.

the lovely weather is back...this means all the cars are out again. i saw buddy in his ford gt downtown last week. what a car! i mean, it makes some of the ferrari's look slow! ha!!! (i like ferrari's)

While driving around lately, i have noticed a rise in the number of newer corvettes being driven. i must say i like the new lines and the car looks mean. The number of porsches has gone up as well, and i do not mean boxters. i mean convertible carrerra's. i guess this means that if you have owned real estatehere for the past 4-5 years, you are a millionaire! hahahaha lol.

it's true though, 'experts' will tell you that investing in real estate is risky...but isn't it just as risky to invest in something(anything) you have no knowledge about? most of us have our pensions, rrsp's, mutual funds, rrif's resp's, 401k's in the stock market. yes that's right the stock market. would you go out right now and invest 60 thousand hard earned dollars in the stock market? well that's where your retirement money is! and the guy who's watching it(if there is a guy) is supposed to be looking after your best interests? i think we'll all learn how this will play out. no brainer for me though.

Ryan finally gets to meet some of the models!!!

we set up a party at stir gad some drinks and did some dancing. i must say that even at 35 this year i felt young there. thanks jen for setting it up! and thanks to the ladies for coming out and having fun.

tiger was showing off his budding modeling career with his ama brochure. hot bachelor on the cover!! but seriously ryan, i do want an ama shirt! i was not kidding about that part.....

the next photoshoot, maybe with a s2000, (i wanted another porsche but fong insisted we do a japanese for a change) will probably be in summer side for the beach shots.----girls in bikinis?---- not our style but super hot nonetheless.

fong is excellent with the clothes, and the cars. can't wait for those pictures!

should send out the newsletter again soon.......sorry i have been putting it off.

whew! finally, you get to see some Japanese cars! we have worked it out with millwoods honda for an S2000!

so, look forward to some models and a hot drop top!

ryan lemont will be doing the test drive, and what a time it will be! all the models wanted in of course, so we are obliging and a thanks goes out to costa blanca again for the clothes.
